I am happy to give the aquarium a 5 - but not the restaurant - which I will return to later. Went there with an 11 and a 13 year old. I think it is fair to say that we all enjoyed it. The highlights were the seals, the otters (even though when we were there they stayed firmly in... More

Visited many times when my girls were very young this time as young adults. Not disappointed. Excellent talk at the touch pool suitable for all ages, members of staff all willing and informed... Take your time and read all about the fish all so interesting. The Seals what can I say toooo cute. Such good care of the rescue seals.... More

Brilliant day out! Congratulations to all involved. Staff were amazing. Food in cafe was fabulous. And the aquarium itself was tremendous. We really enjoyed the seals.

First visit from its been done up. Very disapointing and expensive 35.00 for a family of 5. Way overpriced for not much improvement from what i could see. The no picnic policy is a joke if u ask me, and the cafes just as bad as £4.95 for a kids meal that had very little to it with no drink... More

Very excited to see the new refurbishment in exploris! First impressions front of house staff were very friendly and helpful! Took us through what is in the building and let us know about any talks that were going on. We arrived about 1:30pm and were told that there was a talk on the tanks at 2, the kids really enjoyed... We had a great day out. It's expensive an if u add ferry price it does work out expensive enough. Play area was opened..it's not a bad size maybe a little small I certainly wouldn't feel lik 8 year old son should b on it among smaller children. Demos where great. It was amazing to get to see seal up... More

Glad to see Exploris has been revitalised. Visited with the kids on a March Saturday and was surprised how busy it was. Word is spreading its back and even better. Been many years since visited but had a good time and the renovations have done a good job

We got the boat over from strangford which I advise to park up in Strangford and go on as foot passengers. We paid £22 for 2 cars 2 adults and 3 kids and 3 babies which was expensive where as it's cheaper to walk on the boat £1 adult and 50p for children over a certain age I think. The... More

We were looking forward to our visit to Exploris, lovely crossing from Strangford on the ferry with very friendly staff then walked up to Exploris and that was when it all went downhill. Many of the fish tanks were too high for small children so we were having to lift our little ones to see in - nothing was very... More
