This monument is over two hundred years old and is very impressive. There is a great walk to great there and the views of the local countryside are amazing. Well worth visiting just for the views.

We parked at the Harestanes Country Park, where the start of the trail to this monument is. The trail took us through some lovely woodland, which was great for our dog to have a wander about. Only the last couple hundred of metres are exposed....More

Very good for long walk with dogs you can park at harestanes nearby and walk from there. Views on a clear day are worth a visit you can get a key to climb inside but not sure where, it used to be Lothian Estates.

Brilliant walk here. Great history of the Waterloo monument. Great in all weathers. Highly recommended with great views of Jedburgh.

This is a must for beautiful views,a bit of a walk up to but well worth it for views as they are amazing.
