Had drinks only after all day in jedburgh, everyone was so friendly. Chatted with "wattie", one of the locals, he gave us a cd of some of the music he played, he was a fiddle player, very enjoyable cd.

Seems to be the busiest pub in Jedburgh. Very friendly staff and clientele. Lots of sport on multiple televisions but not oppressive. Log burning stove. Particularly worth a visit at 9-00pm on a Friday when local traditional musicians jam.

Superb Watering hole for us thirsty rugby supporting pensioners. Charlie and Dawn and family doing a great job in resurrecting The Cannon. Popular with all the locals and I would most certainly recommend this to any visitors, where you would be made most welcome.
