Rollie took us quite aways out and set up his sophisticated anchoring system. It took a while but when the bit hit, we were the happy fisherpeople. The three of us each got a nice halibut and one was close to the weight limit too. Rollie gladly cleaned the fish for us which saves us a lot of time as... More

Having fished the Pacific Coast from Mexico to Alaska for over 50 years, I consider Captain Rose to be one of the finest guides I have encountered. I have booked a trip with him this year, the fifth in six years. If the fish are there, Rollie will get them hooked up.

Took my two sons and went with Rollie last year. Great family trip, good company and a very experienced guide. Nice long 10 hr charters and don't count on going home if the bites on at the end of the day!!. Great location and we were fishing within moments of leaving the Sooke Harbour. I'll be back.

I have fished with Rollie many times through the years. He is the best at putting you on the fish. In addition he is also fun to spend the day on the water with.
