We arrived on a wet evening in May, by the time we got to the beach the sun was back out. I think the best advise would be is to visit, you will not be disappointed.

Decided to head up to Ullapool from Inverness bed as so close decided to visit Achmelvich Beach. Not easiest beach to reach but that's perhaps why it is so unspoilt x give your self plenty time to get there and be patient with passing places...More

Even on a cloudy day it's a beautiful place to walk and the views are splendid. We camped nearby and enjoyed watching all the watersports taking place.

Not much around here but there are lovely white sands and blue waters. Could be mistaken for the Bahamas if the sun came out!

Isolated and perfect. White sand and a turquoise sea. As the sun shone down only two other families in sight. Take the Crofter's road to get to this bay an experience some beautiful views along the way.

I was at Achmelvich Bay recently, there is NO sign of any dog ban. My personal impression is, that the people of the camping site want no dogs......but if they have any right to allow or disallow: I am not so sure.

Hello, I am sorry Danielle, we had our dog but stayed at the youth hostel so I would not be the best person to advise you for the static caravan. Have a great evening.
