I went on this trail with my son and we really enjoyed ourselves. I will say that it is a slightly harder trail to walk especially the first half, and good shoes and a bottle of water are a must! I was huffing and puffing...More

Booth's Rock Trail has been my favourite trail in Algonquin Park for years, especially during the fall colours season. Bring along a packed lunch and enjoy it at the top or on the rocks beside Rock Lake on your way out of the trail. Beautiful!

Booths Rock Trail is a great 5km hike taking you through a typical Algonquin bog, before it starts to climb up to what is one of the best views in the entire park. It can be a bit strenuous in sections, which why unfortunately I...More

Loved this trail! The first part of the hike is mostly uphill but the view from the top is worth it! Expansive views of Algonquin forest make you feel like you're sitting on top of the world. I would definitely do this hike again and...More

We were just passing by the area on our way around Canada and figured that we had to visit the park. We misunderstood the guide map at Algonquin west gate thinking three dots are the grade of the trail - not the difficulty. We got...More

I was here beginning of July and it was super muddy so it definitely took me longer than it should've to complete this hike. You'll get to the first lookout and you'll think it's absolutely beautiful but it gets even better as you get to...More

My partner and I camp at Rock Lake Campground every fall for the colours. The best part of the camping trip is to hike Booth's Rock Trail. The trail head is walking distance from the campground. There is a lookout at the half way point;...More

this is a bit of a trek upwards for those not able to climb but the view from the top is amazing. lots of wonderful history to learn about along the way like the railway that used to go through algonquin.

We went when the snow was still melting and it had rained a few days back. Decided to do the trail backwards, didn't keep our feet any dry. The stairs are meant to go down on, not up. If you're up for a challenge, do...More
