You can see the entire city from cerro santa apolonia. There are merchants who sales peruvian products, sueters, etc. It is a beautiful view. Go!

I was wandering Plaza de Armas and started walking up the interesting hill. From the church, you have to pay 1 sole to enter. The climb is worth it. You gave a beautiful view of Cajamarca in front of you. Don’t miss it if you...More

not a terrible hill but it lacks that extra touch to be a great hill. It definitely could be worse but it was not too impressive. Go on Sunday to see a very cool market on the way there.

This hill gives you a great view of Cajamarca. Well worth the climb. Very safe, even at night. The main stairway and church near the top are lit up at night and make good pictures. There is a one peso charge to access the direct...More

We climbed up all the stairs and were rewarded by amazing views of the valley and city of Cajamarca. The climb is doable if you go slowly. There are little shops along the way to rest in and shop. It is one sole to go...More

Nice view on the city. You'll have to pay around 1 sole to enter and there's two entries. One behind the plaza de armas and one behind the cerro on the crossroad where you can catch combis to the Cumbemayo.

From the top you can see amazing views of the city and you can either climb up or take a taxi. So anyone can go. The entire hill is built on with small streets with shops and mercaditos. Your money will go a long way....More

Very close to the plaza de armas and has a beautiful view of the city and surrounding area. It's lots of stairs, but great exercise! It's only s/1 to enter into the park/garden area, and definitely worth it for the view and nice walk.

Literally, at the higher altitude and climbing higher, you may be panting after the climb. It's a lovely place to get a panorama of the City. Some great old and new construction you can appreciate along with the gardens and vendors and scenery.
