A long trip, 2 hours, along a bumpy twisty road even though it's asphalt but pitted by the mining trucks. Get down the road and visit this museum! It's 4 or 5 soles, but it still has some of the gold artifacts found at Condor...More

This was a great day trip from Cajamarca. A fine facility and it is great that Peru kept the collection at the site and did not ship it off to Lima

We went here on a day trip. The small museum has some interesting artifacts and the ruins and the surrounds are beautiful. We were a little disappointed to realize our pictures next to the ruin "statues" were fiberglass copies, but still definitely worth the trip.
