It doesn't matter what kind of performing arts you like - the Greek Theater at UC Berkeley is a uniquely attractive venue, a place where you can listen to music while watching the sun set behind Richardson Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. On a...More

Took my teenager daughter to see Lorde in concert here recently. Parking was ok, we got there early and paid $20 to park in a nearby lot, which I was expecting. Stood in line for about an hour, then went in to the venue with...More

Went here to see Interpol and the Kills. Lines for beer were short, and they reused my cup = AWESOME. We sat at the very top row so we had a back to our 'seat'. Absolutely loved the venue, the sound was amazing and so...More

I've heard great things about the Greek Theatre, so I was excited to experience it for the first time last week! It did not disappoint! Positives: - There's two entrances to get inside, so it prevents a huge traffic jam of people trying to get...More

The theater is gorgeous. The View is beautiful. The seats are bizarrely uncomfortable and impractical. The lawn is steep enough to make sitting up there feel like my tail bone is going to never feel the same again. Standing for several hours is the best...More

Rain! terrible for this type of venue. There is also a 10:00 PM noise abatement regulation, so paid $250 to see Alison Krauss for 45 min. soaking wet. This might be a good venue in the middle of summer with an artist that values their...More

I am almost hesitant to post a review of this place, so I don't let out too big of a "secret". Last night, we went back to Berkeley to see The Shins and Spoon at The Greek Theater. Wow! The showmanship on stage was first...More

I love this venue because it's not to big, the crowd is usually easy going, the vibe is relaxed, the shows are fun! There are plenty of places to eat & drink before and after.

The Greek Theater is exactly what it sounds like. I was here to see the Yo Yo Ma, Edgar Meyers and Chris Thile trio performing Bach arrangements. It rocked. The performers that they have here can't get better and UC Berkeley is a beautiful place....More

Even with rain this was an amazing place to see Radiohead. Bring a pillow to sit on. Even with long lines to enter we still got an excellent seat. Can't wait to come back!
