Did a quick hike here for Labor Day it was pretty easy did the Shelby trail (there’s a section where it splits) went towards the right ended up at the botanical garden and Main Street so had to go back down to where the split was and went down towards the left trail then ended up at another parking lot I want to say it was the Esquire section I forget but found a trail going down towards the water (which is kinda a tough trail because it is steep) walked down and was right in front of the lake. You can even do a more simpler trail right around the lake. It was pretty and nice the only thing I would say is that there’s just so many leaves and tree branches so it’s kind of hard to see the trail path so we went to different paths . At the end of the day it was not to bad of a hike. The lake is beautiful you can swim on one section of it, you can fish, have a picnic or bbq so some early and reserve a spot. …
