Neighbourhood: Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.

The Saban Theatre is a beautiful 1930s Art Deco building that is a historic landmark.
It has concerts and more.
The beauty of this place alone is worth seeing.

Best theater for concerts! Great overall experience. Beautiful inside & out!
Feb 2020
With so many concert venues offering standing room & limited seating this theater is a true treasure for a great experience! All seats offer a perfect view and seats are comfortable. Small enough to have a intimate feel and the sound is fantastic! Parking is easy with lots of nearby restaurants making the visit very convenient. All of the staff and ushers and very friendly and helpful. This theater remains one of the few that hold the beauty of 1930's architecture. We have purchased tickets for future shows!!

Fantastic Evening!
Feb 2020
Have visited the Saban twice for two concerts. Easy to park, great restaurants within walking distance, good drinks at the bar, very clean and nostalgic. Would definitely go again to see performances. Did not disappoint!

Broken Seat at the sorry Saban
Oct 2019 • Friends
We bought 4 seats at over $100 each with Ticketmaster fees to see Ringo.
One seat Orchestra B 105J was broken with the left side dangling onto the floor. We contacted the usher who said she could do nothing and when asked to talk to the manager she said she didn't know where he was. My husband spent the entire show squating. The sound system went out at the beginning for several minutes and Ringo had to come out and reassure the restless audience that he was truly there. Later Ringo from the stage complained that they had promised him a screen in front so that he would not have to twist his head around to see the photograph he was supposed to talk about. In the row right in front of us a videographer said he had permission to tape and so there was the bright light dusturbing throughout the show.
Ringo repeatedly pushed his on stage friend's transcendental meditation charity which became tiresome. Ticketmaster Customer Support tried to get us a refund on the broken seat but we found out today it was refused. The show was a half hour shorter than initially advertised which was a major disappointment. The Saban theater had a homeless person sitting on the only bench in the covered area outside the front doors. No one could sit there because the stench was so bad.

Lovely Art Deco
Oct 2019
Dating from 1930 it began life as Fox Wilshire Theater. Attractive Art Deco features are hallmarks of this architectural landmark.

It has been a major movie theatre hosting premieres down the years and also a house for musicals and other presentations.

In 2009 it was renamed in honour of a major philanthropic couple.

Gino Vanelli concert.
Oct 2019
Gino was great. Just what I was expecting. He sang all of my favorite songs, plus songs from his 2016 album that I was not familiar with. Gino has aged remarkably well, hard to believe that he turned 67 this year. He also mentioned that he doesn't know how many more of these shows he'll be able to do, which disappointed the crowd, and understandably so.

Beautiful Art Deco Theater
Oct 2019
Beautiful Art Deco Theater with great acoustics. The seats are a little dated and could be updated. I found them uncomfortable after about an hour of sitting.
The challenge for the Theater is parking. So check out parking options before you go and get there early.

Beautiful venue, horrible sound
Oct 2019
We went to see Rachael Maddow interviewed by J.J. Abrams last evening at the Salon Theater. The interior of the theater is dazzling and the ushers and other service people were excellent. Unfortunately the sound system was so bad that all four people in my party missed a good deal of the interview. It was expensive to purchase the tickets and frustrating to ist there for 1.5 hours and not be able to hear anything clearly.
