This is what I would term the upscale downtown area of Big Bear. Plenty of small shops---mostly touristy stuff, but a few nice galleries and higher-end clothing and local art shops. A cute little movie theater is also here, several coffee shops, and many restaurants...More

Myriad tacky gift shops & "art" galleries with high prices. Stopped into an outdoor café for a beer & charged $6. Avoid this tourist trap & enjoy Mother Nature instead.

our entire family went to the village and shopped in the little shops and had an ice cream at the Fudge shop. What a neat little place to experience Big Bear!

It's a pedestrian-friendly tourist village with a variety of local shops. Some featured antique and gold-rush themes. The restaurants are very good but not cheap. Parking was easy even on a crowded Sunday.
