After some days in San Diego we've decided to do something else. So we've decided to go into the desert. At the visitor center in the park, you'll find lots of information regarding various trails and the history of the place. We've took the Pictograph trail, that led you to some Native American pictographs. Please, pass the pictographs and go... More

If you are Julian or Borrego Springs you don’t want to miss this state park. The visitors center is worth the trip. Their films sre very good. Ample parking many trails.

Spend the weekend at La Casa Del Zorro and used it as a jumping off point for jeep trips. Went up Coyote Canyon, weather was perfect and there were only a handful of others out on the trail.

This is a great walk for families to see the big horn sheep, to witness geology in action or just to build up an appetite. Go early or late but be sure to do it.

The visitor's center was great. The 15 min movie regarding the park is informative but quick. It is not like some were you fall asleep. Staff very friendly. Vistas are beautiful.

Took the Palm Canyon Hike to the Oasis--very good and just a little challenging in a few places. The Slot hike was also very good. Wish we had more time here, as well as 4 wheel drive. Ranger at Visitor's center was very helpful.

Stunning views of mountains, canyons, flowers, hiking trails, all under a big beautiful sky. Coming from upstate New York, it was a great winter getaway and have the warm sun soak into my bones. As an artist, lots of inspiration for my next paintings. Do take time to drive around the town of Borrego Springs to see the very many... More

Who would of thought that a desert could be such a beautiful place. Lots of trails, beautiful flowers, and oasis. I will be coming back to explore since there are way too many trails to do in just 2 days.

Amazing view and hiking routes. You'll come over some beautiful areas while you're driving there as well. Just remember to bring water og something to have on your head. Your cellphone might not work out here either (bad signal). Also bring passport or other documentation because of border patrols in the area!
