We have been to this venue with all our grandchildren at different times and every time we came away with good memories and great pictures. The grandchildren really enjoy every minute of it and the food is good.

Visited on Sat 21 Apr 2018. Last visited some three years ago and it was exceptional back then. This time absolutely terrible. Less than a dozen common garden variety butterflies. Asked the lady representative as too why no butterflies and she informed me that in...More

Enjoyed the whole experience. Took us 2 hours to wonder around the zoo at easy pace. I did expect more butterflies, but enjoyed seeing all the different animals and birds. We especially enjoyed the tortoises. Children will love the place. Easy parking.

Very average place....more creatures of other types than actual butterflies but was nevertheless enjoyed by the little ones. We went on an extremely hot day- BAD idea, there is minimal ventilation in certain areas (understandably so for some of the creatures) and the little restaurant...More

BFW has a new restaurant that recently opened. The food i excellent and very decently priced. The facility provides care for a lot of abandoned animals, so one feels like contributing to this function when paying your entrance fee. The animals are clearly well looked...More

We had a lovely visit to Butterfly world and it's a wonderful place for young and old. The only downfall was the long wait for our food and the restaurant but it was worth it as it tasted delicious. I'd recommend it for a day...More

Obviously not ‘butterfly season’ - I think we saw about 5 in total, all the same. The rest of the place seemed dirty and the staff seemed disinterested. Don’t waste your money.

A good place to take the whole family. The place is enclosed to protect the animals, especially the butterflies who fly about freely. There are various other enclosures where different animals are kept, all very neat and clean. There is also an adjacent restaurant serving basic fresh food and snacks.

Wow the butterfly world has so much to offer for all ages. One could spend all day there and explore all the animals. Slightly disappointed that there were not many butterflies but I think July is not a great time for them. They have expanded...More

This was an enjoyable photographic experience, with lovely specimens and a number surprises. It is a lovely place to take the children to experience some rarer animals and beautiful butterfly specimens.

The kids loved the animals, but we were a bit disappointed with there being only four species of butterfly. The birds were a treat. Unfortunately not many local species of animals.
