Great diversion from Wine tasting!

I've been here a couple times. You walk into a little gift shop, pay 10$ to enter and 1$ for bowls of food if you want to feed the birds. It's a little scary at first but the birds are gentle and if you read the rules you'll be fine. We got to pet both a cat and a dog... More

My wife and I were driving past Ostrich Land and decided to stop. For $10 entrance and $2 to feed, we got up close and personal to ostriches and emu's. They were quite impressive to stand next too and feed. You wouldn't want to encounter a mad ostrich in the wild, as they could do severe damage. This is well... More

Had driven past for years and finally went in this year. A fun experience for all ages as they give you feed and a dustpan to deliver it with to the hungry Ostriches. They are hungry and a bit aggressive but not scary. Make sure adulets do the feeding. They are amazing birds but know everyone is coming to feed... More

This is a must do experience. It is only 6 bucks including the feeding but to be up close and see the viciousness or these birds and their power is amazing. You will get the rules and be careful because they are strong. The Emus and much more docile. But this is truly a quick and fun little experience.

Enjoyed our 30 minutes at the site. The ostriches where customers first enter are fed a lot due to excited visitors. But if you want to see really hungry ostriches and emus, wait to fed the ones at the end of the path. The ostriches have long necks and educational signs say not to make them stretch out far to... My friend, her daughter and I drove past Ostrich Land en route to Solvang and joked about actually stopping on our way out. Well as we drove back toward LA we had to stop. The entry fee ($9, I think, for myself and my friends daughter) included food to feed the ostriches and emus with. It didn't take long to... More

We got bored in Solvang so we decided to backtrack to Ostrich Land. We paid $4 per adult because there was no more feeding that day. Our toddler was fascinated by the ostriches and emus, so it was worth a stop. Expect to spend about 30min there.

If you've never seen an ostrich up close, you are in for a treat. These amazing animals are huge and delightful to watch, especially at a full gallop. You can see them in the open field area, but go in to the small shop and buy a ticket to see them, as well as emus up close and personal. You... More

This park is located very close to where we are staying so it seemed like a good outing and seemed interesting. Was a great choice! Great way to see ostrich and emu up close. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive entertaining outing that doesn't take hours.

The farm is right on the highway so you pass it coming or going from Solvang. The ostrich are just plain fun to watch and the exhibit of eggs and what you can do with them most interesting. It's worth the stop.
