This fun gallery is right next door to Indian Springs Resort. This year, there is a great display out front, where the artist has assembled rusty metal forms to showcase succulents. He’s done an imaginative job. The art offers nothing I would buy, but, nevertheless, it is worth wandering through to pique your curiosity.

Since this was across from our hotel, I had to stop in. Really cool art exhibits. Some disturbing but in a good way

The sculptures in this gallery were really interesting--when we visited, many of them used musical instruments. They also had slices of pipes used to bring up water the hot springs--these pipes are highly crystallized on the inside, and they have explanations about how the calcium is left behind and the pipes have to be replaced every year. We never saw an employee while we were there, though, which surprised us.

I had seen this place from the outside many times, but until I stepped foot in the door, I had no idea what treasures it holds. local artists transform the mineral-rich hot springs into crystal-laden works of art. Also, you will find other mediums - paint, sculpture, and on occasion, a social mixer featuring musicians and food and wine. This is a great respite for the eary wine taster.

The Indian Springs Art Gallery is definitely among my favorites! We discovered it on a trip to Calistoga last year, and fell in love with Guy Pederson's sculptures. A bright yellow wall with a contemporary horse sculpture in front of it caught my eye through the gallery window while driving past, so we decided to stop and investigate. We have visited many times since, and purchased several pieces, including sculpture, photography, and Guy's famous crystallized pipe art pieces. :) This is gallery is a 'must visit' on a trip to Calistoga, and be sure to meet Guy!!
