Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

CAF is a hidden gem located at Camarillo airport. It is located at 455 Aviation Drive, not too far from 101 freeway. Plan to spend about 2 to 3 hours here to view antique, but well maintained planes from the second and first world war era. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They know the history of each air craft. Suggested donation is $10 for adults. Plenty of parking is available. Don't miss the China Doll DC46 that was used to transport supplies from India to China over Himalayas. Even on a cloudy day with little rain- it was worth the visit.

If you are interested in WW II history or aircraft, this is a delightful experience. Volunteer tour guides are very knowledgeable. We spent more time here than planned!

They are open! We caught them on re-opening day, Friday June 25th! What a great place, docents are really knowledgeable because they lived it. Staff was so excited to be open again. Lots of planes but also much more, artifacts from so many places, events and times. Well worth whatever it takes for you to get there.

We went on the spur of the moment because it is a short distance from the Seabee Museum. This is an incredible place! We had a tour with a Docent named John and he gave us so much information and answered so many questions. I enjoyed seeing the PBJ-1J MBII Semper Fi, knowing how many years and how much love was put into restoration!

An interesting place to visit is the Air Force Museum located at the Camarillo Airport. It contains an interesting collection of WW II items and aircraft. I observed a P 51, a Supermarine and other aircraft plus various smaller items. Several of the aircraft are in flyable condition including a B25. The "old timers" will be happy to give you a tour and explain the collection. It makes for an interesting visit.

This small but mighty museum is awesome. So much to read and see and some airplanes are on display. Even more, a knowledgable docent will take you out to the runway to see other planes. Very exciting!!!

This is one of the true aviation wonderlands in the country, if not the world!

Beautiful Warbirds, all lovingly restored (or being restored) and you get your very own docent tour with a gentleman who knows his way around these beauties. You can even take a ride in these wonderful aircraft for a modest fee.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough, go and enjoy!
