There is a wood/dirt trail that run's along the bluff of the beach that should not be missed. It provides a great place to watch the sunset and has access to the tide pools at many places. We also were able to watch the sea lions very easily

great beach site area for walking along the boardwalk, or sand. We love it here and always stop when we are in the area.

The gem of the central coast--windy, powerful and mesmerizing! The plank walkway is wonderful and one can walk along it for leisure or exercise. A quiet --off the beaten path place!! LOVE IT

We loved this Beach, it was quiet and there was a boardwalk running the length. Lots of driftwood. Just across the road from our Hotel.

Whenever I go to Cambria, a visit to Moonstone Beach is a must. It's a beautiful, charming little beach full of driftwood and beautiful views. When we were there this time it was cloudy and had been raining, but we still enjoyed a short stroll along the sand before another shower pushed us back into the car. I even found... More

Lovely little beach with limited tourists to crowd your plans during the winter season. Relaxing and enjoyable for all ages.

Being from Southern California, I am used to a completely different type of coastline from what the Central Coast has to offer. Moonstone Beach has a boardwalk trail, lots of lookout points, benches, a rocky coastline, and rugged surf. The ocean and landscape is beautiful in a wild, unruly way, and walking Moonstone is a wonderful way to experience both.... More

Moonstone Beach is a pretty little unspoiled spot on Hiway 1. If you are going that way, it is so worth the stop.

Everything about Moonstone is great. Go down to the water and pick up Moonstones, stroll the shore. Restaurants just across the road to sit to eat and watch the birds and beach.
