By the time we were here we must have seen many temples and monasteries by now, but still this was an abode of peace and tranquility. Loved the image of Buddha you feel like to meditate for sometime .Loved the quite and peaceful atmosphere.

This temple was built sometime in the 15th century for the benefit of all santient being's and especially for the local dwellers.

This is a temple, one of many, with the future buddha as its main deity. It seems similar to many other temples in bhutan but the atmosphere is quite serene. But then so are many other temples. You can visit this if you have time...More

Also known as Tshongdoe Naktshang, the quiet and peaceful Druk Choeding is the town temple... The main statue inside the temple is of a seated Maitreya Buddha (the future Buddha).

i am so please to visit Druk choeding ,its so beautiful and peaceful,i am so lucky to have chance to visit bhutan ,it s the most peacefull place i ever visit

This temple is quiet old, and the environment is very peaceful. Must visit place. The idol is of the future Buddha. The driveway too the temple is great too.

There is a statue of the Future Buddha known as Jampa in the seated position. Also has an image of the deity know as Gyenyen who is the protector of Bhutan
