Much better than Grand Hirafu, in my opinion. The slopes are legendary and the powder unrivalled. The gondola also has excellent and cheap Japanese curry for when the hunger pangs bite.

ok little ski resort, not worth the bus trip out from niseko, better to heading off to rusutsu as there are more runs to do and better snow conditions as well.

I found it hard to access because of the amount of stairs. Height inside was limited as well as storage for skis. Once up the top the mountain was fabulous!

Its the quietest amongst all in the area, and has many gates to enter, plus it has many options for beginners/ intermediate levels too. Although it is not so accessible, it is worth a half day or full day in this area. Convenient especially if...More

It was for us the best section of the mountain. There are lots of trees that you can ski between and good variety of slopes though the black slopes being somewhat limited. And if you are a snowboarder who dislikes getting off a chair lift...More

Loved Annupuri with its long and varied runs. Doesn't get as busy as Grand Hirafu but it's more prone to the wind.

i really like annupuri area cos it's less crowded than grand hirafu area and there are lines with all kinds of levels. From the top of the annupuri in black line, you can ride to Niseko village.

Rode this gondola during the winter, so my objective was to ski back down. That being said, if you just want to go to the top for a view, any time of year you can catch the lift up and then ride it back down...More
