Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Presumably it means that this is the suposed site of the Sermon On The Mount. The beatitudes were only a small part of this sermon, which on balance was a hard-hitting and profound statement of how Jesus expected people to live. It's wrong that so many think of 'Gentle Jesus, meek and mild' because all they remember of Him os the beatitudes =- that is so wrong. Anyway, in an area where so many of Jesus' recorded deeds are remembered; this one is on a 'mount' away from the lake, and is a peaceful and memorable place.

Nicely located in the lake Tiberias shore. A small, cute church and beautiful gardens with a lot of inscriptions from the gospel to dictate the mood. The nun in the church gave a scarf to cover up the shoulders of the ladies prior to entry. There is also a café and a hotel for designated visitors. There is a small fee at the entrance and ample parking available. In my view the overall setup is a little commercial but other pilgrims might have other views.

The Church of the Mount of the Beatitudes is where Jesus addressed the multitude., It is the site of the Sermon on the Mount and the Sermon of the Beatitudes. The Mount of Beatitudes is one of the most significant sies in the Ministry of Jesus. The Church is in Capernaum, it was rebuilt in the 1930s on the site of the 4th Century Byzantine church. The outlook over the Sea of Galilee is quite inspiring. Worshippers may like to leave a donation, but it is not obligatory.

This church is beautifully set right on the Sea of Galilee. It seems to fit so well into the landscape, making it more beautiful. The inside is relatively small and very simple, adding to the majesty of the place. I am glad we stopped to visit.

The octagonal church is built over the site believed to be where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. It is on a hill overlooking the Sea of Galilee with beautiful gardens, including a Monastery building past the entrance. There are small assembly areas in the garden where groups can gather for teachings and readings.
Beware, the later in the day you wait, the crowds are worse. This is on the most crowded places we visited during our whole trip. However, it is worth it. Along the path toward the entrance are small plaques that recite each of the 8 beatitudes.
The walking is easy and there is lots of shade, but just beware of the crowds.

I had intended to visit this Church for a long time as I had visited all the other ones in the region.
But what a disappointment when the attendant at the entrance demanded a hefty parking fee.
I must admit that I should have paid, having driven till there, but I left instead.

I attended this tour virtually and it was simply amazing. Our tour guide Amit was so knowledgeable. I am definitely signing up for more! This is the best thing next to actually being there! Thank you, Amazing Jerusalem for providing this opportunity, especially during this pandemic.

A significant and very beautiful church at the top of a hill with fabulous views through the well tended gardens and into the Sea of Galilee. A place for contemplation even if you are not religious. A must see on your trip to the Holy Land.

I just want to know, Holy Father Pope Francis has visited this church OR not , in His Israel visit.?

Most sites commemorate Papal visits. I don't remember seeing anything for Pope Francis at the Mount of Beatitudes. But I believe that Pope John Paul II visited in 2000. As a suggestion, you might be able to google it and find more details.

My friend and I are staying the night in Tiberias, and we definitely don't want to miss this. Are there public transportation options from Tiberias to the Church of Mount of Beatitudes? Also how much would they cost and would they run during a Thursday evening and/or Friday morning?

Your best way to get there ask your travel agency to arrange a tour that you can go there. Or take a taxi. Price I don't know but things are not cheap there Also when there, go the travel information and will tell you the best way. your hotel can help.
