Disappointing!!!

Not what I expected at all and was disappointed. Locals say that you have to take the tour to Vrelo Cave- they talk so highly of it; however, the cave is very small and not much there. I've been in much larger caves that you can take a boat ride on the lake in the cave. I wasn't impressed! The boats are nice that take you there and you can take good photos of the canyon.

Not much of a cave. Prepare for disappointment.

The cave was disappointing. It was quite small. I was expecting more. it does not go very far into the mountain as far as the area that tourists can go. It was a nice boat ride to get there. The guide was great and very personable.

Rent a kayak, hop on a boat and just go. Make sure you figure out how to turn the lights on, cos the cave is just awesome. :)

Don't miss this place!
In half a day, departing from Skopje, you can take a leap into the unspoilt nature of Macedonia!
Aboard a very large and safe boat, you will cross Matka Canyon, and reach these quarries.
The cost is €8.50 per person and it is absolutely worth it.
Highly recommended!
