Our family was visiting over the Thanksgiving holiday. We went on Thanksgiving Day, which turned out to be the best day of the wk, crowd wise. The main tourists were oriental, thinking they don't celebrate Thanksgiving nearly as much as other groups. Got tickets to both Legoland and the zoo online at Costco for $95 for both. (great savings if... More

This whole park is geared towards family fun. But it is more geared towards younger children, at least under the age of ten. Their are rides for an older group but for the most part they cater to the younger crowd.

Our family visited Legoland in October. I acknowledge that children were free, just as they were at most amusement parks during that month. I understand it's also off-season so I'm going to try to be fair in my evaluation. The park looked shabby, in my opinion. It looked like it could use a good sweeping; the ponds were clogged with... For our vacation we purchased the Go San Diego Card (from smartdestinations.com) which provides free admission to a number of sites including Lego Land. We spent the whole day here and had a nice time. The rides are suited towards elementary age kids and younger, but the adults in our party had a good time as well. The different characters... More

We went to Legoland on December 4 for the "holiday" celebration and half the rides were closed down. The only thing holiday was Santa and the big tree. Even the workers weren't cheery. There isn't anything for toddlers to do other than play at LEGO stations and the playgrounds - they can't go on rides. Our older kids - 4,6... More

Visited on 2/12 with our almost 4 yr old son. We had a great time. The park is HUGE and compared to the reviews I read the park was not full. Waiting times were 10 minutes at the most on any attraction, sometimes even we rode two times in a row. We arrived very early and had breakfast at Legoland... More

Fortunately we did LEGOLAND on the first day of our vacation because I don't think it would have stacked up well against Disneyland and Universal Studios if we had done them first. LEGOLAND seems to be geared toward a younger crowd. At 16, 14, and 10 our kids were amused, but not thrilled with the park. The lego sculptures are... More

Would have rated higher but a lot of attractions were closed. Pirates shores was entirely closed but at least was mentioned but a lot of other stuff was closed with no mention at all why it was closed. I guess we went on a bad day for attractions to be closed on with no signs when you enter the park... More

Great place to take young children. We bought a two-day pass- definitely worth it. One day in the main park, and one day at the waterpark.
