We went for the tree lighting at Rancho Leo Carillo and found so much more. The renovation to the barn was transformative. The park was festively full of lights. The docents were wonderfully informative and friendly. It really felt Christmasy. There are also great walking...More

A relative brought me here one afternoon. It is a large ranch house on a large piece of property that was owed by an actor who used to play “Pancho” on “The Cisco Kid’ back in the 1950s. Docents lead tours daily and take you...More

Beautiful scenic adobes with free roaming peacocks. It was an amazing experience especially at their annual christmas event. They really go all out for a family friendly and fun event

Bring your walking shoes on a visit to the Leo Carillo Rancho. There is a lot to look at and appreciate. Before you tour the grounds of the rancho, there is a short film that you should watch in the building where you sign in...More

A local, I had no idea this ranch existed. We ended up having a delightful afternoon learning about the Hollywood of yesteryear.

This is a park with plenty of walks and beautiful grounds as well as the home of Leo Carrillo, a star of the Cisco Kid and other Hollywood films. We had a docent who was working the ranch home. He was so helpful with stories...More

There is a lot of history here, and it's a quiet and beautiful spot, that once was in the 'wilderness' and now is at the edge of the city. Worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for something to do for free

Enjoyed the walk and the history of the area. The interpretive center was under construction when I went but will add to people's knowledge of who once lived there.

They would like the nature walk around the grounds and may like some of the "old buildings/ranch". Not a lot of things for kids such as rides. There are free range peacocks that some kids get a real kick out of.
