Played yesterday in the mid morning and had a great time. The course is quite fun - and it is in perfect condition. Greens and fairways are excellent. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The views are beautiful. Lots of sandy desert roughs, but the course rules allow a free drop back onto the fairway if you can... More

Played here twice because the rate was great. The have a card you can buy for $99.00 which gives you a rate of $59.00 everytime you play. Both times we play early and the morning and both times the play was brutally slow ( over 4 hours for a wide open course) with no marshalls to found on the course.... More

Played here today. Course was in good shape but greens terribly slow. Course was pretty much all forward and back, without much difficulty. No dog legs or anything of that nature. Staff friendly and course in good shape. But as I said, you get what you pay for!

Great course that's in really good shape. Other than the homeless camp that parallels holes 3 & 4, the experience from check-in to finish was worth the $. Staff are super friendly, accommodating and helpful - we will definitely golf here again.

4 of us were looking for a nice place to golf at a reasonable price where we could rent golf clubs to play as we did not travel with our own clubs. We were visiting Palm Springs for work. We are all Deans of Education. We were able to do 9 holes for about $40.00 ($20.00 for clubs and $20... More

Solo player, booked a GREAT rate online for one of the 1st tee times of the day. Had almost the entire course to myself the entire round and played in just under 3 hours. The course is a fun layout with wide landing areas and conditioning was amazing. Well manicured/maintained and the greens rolled great. LOVED playing this course and... More

Really enjoyed this course even though it was windy. Great value and some long par 4 and par 5's make this a great course to open up a bit. Well maintained going in to summer means that they care about the quality of play. I would come back. There is some minor resort construction that is a little unsightly but... More

We were in Palm Desert to enjoy a different type of golf landscape. We live in Florida. Cimarron was recommended. It was AWFUL !!! The course is not well kept. The day we played it was 98 degrees. There isn't a tree on the course and there are no man made shelters from the sun. No beverage cart, just water... More

We played in early April and found the course in excellent condition, with some of the truest greens I've ever played. If you're looking to get your game back in order after a tough winter, THIS is the place. It is beautiful. It is open. Lots of sand (so you'll get to practice that part of your game as well).... My wife and I invited our whole family to join us at Cimarron Resort and the three days and four nights we all spent there will never be forgotten. We played golf three times on two of the courses, had our own tournament, a wedding reception and luncheon and everything was fantastic. The staff has an amazing helpful attitude; nothing... More
