Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great pier for a stroll and some fantastic views. Normally it's not crowded at all.
Note there are signs on both sides of the pier entrance - No Dogs. Leashed dogs are permitted on the adjacent beach, but not on the pier.

Stop by Cayucos and enjoy the beach and a walk down this pier. You can really view the sunset from the pier. Even better, grab some clam chowder from Duckies at the bottom of the pier and savor a great lunch and views!

I love the whole vibe of downtown. It's just fun to walk up and down the street checking out the shops and eating at one of the little restaurants. I never get tired of it. We walk out on the pier all the time rain or shine.

My friend and I decided to check out the pier , when we discovered this cute green food truck . The owner specializes in homemade churros . He makes them in his food cart and fresh to order . They were delicious ! Very friendly service ! We will definitely be back for more churros. Yum yum

Great place to visit. Cayucos is a small town. We rented an beach front home on Studio Drive. The cute home has great views of the private beach. The back door opens to the Ocean..

Great spot to watch surfers and paddle boarders. Sunnier in a shucks than elsewhere on the coast, so a great place for a lazy walk. Lots of fun places to visit on the main drag nearby...

Walked out in the pier and mostly contained families fishing. Obviously great place to view the ocean and coast line. No dogs allowed.

The pier walk was delightful, homage to the hundreds of local citizens who have made this pier possible. We were quite humbled at the inscriptions along the pier then wooowooo! A couple of young FIT men with surfboards passed us to dive off a diving platform near the end of the pier to take advantage of the breakers so far from the shore. We were most impressed and invigorated. BTW, clean restroom at beachside of pier.

Pier was closed for refurbishment, but looked like a nice pier. Classic pier in a small beach town. Restaurants at base of pier.

Very old school pier and beach. Wasn't crowded at all and easy to walk on. Nearby parking as well. Don't forget to walk to the shops, like the brown butter cookie shop
