Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I'm visiting from Topock Arizona for the summer, infact I do every summer to get away from the desert heat. I always take a few rides up to Brassfield throughout my stay. I finally decided to join the wine club after years of visiting while doing a tasting with Christina. Christina was just a blast to talk to and learn about the wines from. I've made several more trips after signing up for the club this summer to take advantage of the club benefits {free tastings for you and a friend). I always go now when I know Christina is working, my friends really liked her too.

The property is just beautiful and worth the senic short 3.5 mile drive from Clearlake Oaks. Its a must see.

Most any day of the year is a good time to visit Brassfied Estate Winery and sample their outstanding wines. We are lucky enough to live within 45 minutes of the Winery and enjoy visiting several times per year. You can bring your own picnic or purchase really tastey snacks onsite to enjoy inside or outside. We love to sit and sip in the gardens. There are beautiful views at this incredible estate!

The road to the winery was quite the adventure, but we were so glad we continued on once we had arrived. The property itself is beautiful and the wine tasting was so much fun. Their most popular wine, Eruption, did not disappoint. Not knowing much about the winery besides the fact it was down the road from where we were staying, the lady who was assisting us told us all about the property and how the wine got its name. There were some other ladies in there having a tasting as well and it was just a fun time!

The estate is a sight. Love the grounds for walking around. Very few of the wines do I like. We don't go here any more for wine adventure.

Our B+B (the Featherbed Railroad) gave us free tasting passes here when we mentioned we were going to check it out. I think we were the first people to show up on the 4th of July holiday, which they were thankfully open! Our pourer, Chelsea, was very sweet and friendly - never making us feel rushed as we took our time sampling the wines. We really enjoyed the Viogner and the Eruption. We took a glass of wine on the patio and enjoyed the surroundings. What a little gem out in Lake County!

A visit with friends was a pleasant surprise and an opportunity to learn the unique history of the property, the art of viticulture and how they integrate sustainable farming techniques with a blend of traditional winemaking methods which clearly result in award winning wine.

In the Tasting Room we sampled five of the Estate grown, produced and bottled wines... Simply Stunning!

Cannot forget our hostess Caroline whose wit and charm was the perfect accompaniment to the tasting and the visit.

Don’t miss the chance to visit Brassfield when you in in the Lake District.... it’s an absolute gem!

My first visit here was a real surprise. I didn't expect this level of wine tasting experience in Lake County - not because of the wines... Lake County has many, many great wines. It was because of the winery and tasting room. It is equal to or surpasses any in Napa or Sonoma. It is a beautiful setting. You can picnic with your own food, or go for one of the tasting type pairings. The staff is knowledgeable and very nice. The wines are wonderful. It's really a destination. Highly recommend. I've taken friends and also have gone alone. It's always positive.
