It was tolerable before it got flame broiled, but now that many of the trees are gone and people have replaced their former homes with crud, it's a big bummer.

Even after a major California fire Cobb Mountain is still a cool place. Withe 2 golf courses, several good places to eat, great grocery store, coffee shop and gas station. Cobb will come back even after this major fire.

Enjoy a beautiful drive through heavily forested areas and sit outside with a latte at the cafe/bookstore. Inquire about local hiking and mountain biking areas closeby.

Was great resort destination in the 40's, my parents loved itright after WWII. Unfortunately nothing much has changed since then. Has beautiful scenery, a couple of nice golf courses, and a couple of good restaurants. They geysers have helped to keep the area going somewhat.

Cobb Mountain is in Lake County, California, about a half hour from Clearlake. The area is so beautiful and relaxing. Deer roan the area with confidence. Retreat to the tranquillity of Cobb. A vacation of a lifetime at Beaver Creek RV Park & Campground.
