A really nice easy enough hike with gorgeous view of San Francisco and the Bay. I did it with my friend, her 4 month old baby and my golden retriever. BE WARNED dogs are allowed, but must be kept on leash. I received a ticket/fine from a less than nice park ranger because my dog was off leash.

I try to get out to this hike at least once a week. It’s a good hike. I always feel that it is healthy and save. As well as beautiful.

Hiking Ring Mountain is one of my favorite hikes in Marin County. It's easy to access from a variety of locations, parking is easy and the view is spectacular. The wildflower bloom in the spring is not to be missed, depending on how wet the winter was. Best of all, it has not been "discovered" like some other Marin hikes and it's still possible to hike and only see 1-2 other people over the course of an hour. Great place for photography. Enjoy!

Ring Mountain is a great place to hike up. The views from the top are spectacular, with 360 degrees of panoramic glory of most of the Bay Area. It is a great place to walk your dog or to just talk a casual stroll yourself.

Ring Mountain is truly special but one caution; leave your animals @ home. Native Coyotes roam this open space & several incidents have occurred but don’t let that stop you from visiting this wonderful preserve!
