Segerstrom is my "go to" for musicals / shows local to Orange County. My biggest problem with this place is their acoustics --- clarity, sound, etc. need to be better.

My wife and I have attended the Segerstrom Center for the Arts on several occasions, as we have also gone to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA). Pros: The Segerstrom Center for the Arts is a beautiful venue but only in terms of the structure and its design. Cons: * The sound system and acoustics are outrageously poor...so... More

We went to see Mel Brooks at the Segerstrom last year and had second row seats. The view was spectacular and the tickets to any production here are reasonably priced if purchased in advance. They also have yearly memberships with huge savings.

We went to see a production of Matilda at the Sergerstrom Center for the Arts. Magnificent Theater facility. Helpful personnel. Acoustics are superb. Breathtaking theater. Absolutely adored the production, but I suspect everything they present is Class A. A delightful experience. We took two young children 8 and 10 and they loved the production!

We had never been here before, and all I can say is what a fantastic venue. We attended the KODO concert on 02/08. Arrived early, parked in the Park Center lot, close to the venue, for $10. We walked to one of the many restaurants that are close by, had dinner and returned. We had a short wait in the... More

Am fortunate enough to live within a few minutes from this Center. Convenient parking and easy exit. Acoustics is well-renown. My favorite seat, since I'm short and invariably a tall person is seated in front of me, is the 1st or 2nd tier, as center as possible.

Drove 2.5 hours to come and see "Matilda", which was FANTASTIC by the way!! Frist time at this Center and it worked out really well, as we had a bit of time to shop and eat at the South coast Plaza (park there!) and then walked across the street via the Bridge to the Segerstrom Center. Ideal situation, will come... More

We came to see Gregory Porter with Mavis Staples and it was a real treat. The concert hall is beautiful with great acoustics, making for a good sound. It's in a really nice area of town too, with so much more character than nearby Anaheim. It was about a 15-minute drive from the Anaheim convention centre, so quite conveniently located... More

We went to a concert at the Segerstrom concert hall. Great theater. Good sound system. You can see well from every seat. I was a little distracted by the bright lights on the end rows that shined on the steps.
