The stables are on the Palisades which is about 50-100 feet above the beach. We rode in a group of eight to the shoreline, then on the beach for a while then back up. Checking in went well and the horses seem to be well cared for and well fed. There were two guides, one at the front and one at the back, who were polite and helpful. The ride itself was leisurely with only a trot or two, and no galloping. The scenery was amazing.…

Once we got on the horses, it was wonderful. However, like Laurie20180615, I was insulted about my weight by the guy who was putting us on the horses. "How much do you weigh?" he asked with obvious disgust. He pretended to be concerned for the horse, but there were men in our party who weighed as much as I did, and they were accommodated without incident.…

The scenery was beautiful. It could have been a great experience if I have had not been called a f*** lady in front of my family many times, by the male rancher. My 11 year-old son had to hear him cuss about me for 10 minutes straight. All that because my horse stopped on the trail. When another tourist took my defense, the male rancher yelled at him, and told him to shut up. Besides this, my son's friend was given a anxious/tired horse, that scared him. He switched horses midway, but had to finish the ride on foot. The rest of the staff was okay.…
