Great off leash space for your dog to play. A couple of choices as to where to enter, 29th street area or further north. Watch out for parking police, you do have to pay to park on the street to the north end. I was only there a short time the first time, to watch the dog surfing contest and... More

I took a drive to this beach on my last night in San Diego. It's a public access beach and there are tons of people taking their dogs down to the water to play in the surf. It's actually pretty fun to watch them all tearing around the place, meeting other dogs and racing into the water and out. Dogs... More

It's tiny, only a couple hundred yards long. Optional beach would be Huntington Dog Beach, about 20 mins further south on PCH. Better beach, worse parking. The best thing about Rosie's Dog Beach is the ample parking (metered--bring quarters) even on weekends. Always a friendly, family-oriented crowd.

Even if you don't own a dog, you'll have fun at dog beach.. Access is easy; parking is no big deal (it's just a bit pricey); and you'll be surprised who you'ill meet there.

Dog beach is a unique place to let your dogs fun free and play with other like minded dogs. There are volley ball nets as well to pass the time and enjoy the great weather we're just beginning to have here.

If you love dogs and love seeing them run around and have fun, this is the place for you (and your dog). Check out the tide charts though, since during a low tide there is a lot more room for the doggies to roam. You can go around the bend on the north side and go up Solana Beach for... More

Hello, I am a Schnoodle from Seattle. I love this off leash dog beach. We can all have the romp of or dreams here. Most dogs of all sizes are well mannered. Myself, I am 8 lbs and the big dogs are respectful of my space concerns. Yu will want to call the San Diego surf report to be sure... More

If you hae a dog they will have a blast being off leash, chasing birds, balls or the waves. This beautiful beach is perfect for a walk at low tide just be sure to be a good dog parent and clean up after your pooch!
