Dillon beach and Lawson's landing is tucked away in a quiet part of Marin county. We were there for weekend of Father's Day and beautiful summer sunshine. As a resident put it well - you come to Dillon beach as there is nothing to do...More

Peaceful Dry camping, very pet friendly, steps from the beach, fire pits. No showers, and only outhouses so be prepared, there is water that you can get at one location.

We have been camping at Lawson's for over 50 years. There has been lots of changes the past couple of years, some good and some bad. Our major issue with the current layout is the road. Huge pot holes are hard to drive around or...More

Stopped by to check it out but it was rainy and windy so didn't stay long but would have loved to if the weather permitted.

No bathrooms, porta potties only. No fire rings or BBQ's. They pack you in like sardines. people park where ever they want, Generators were running at 7am. The only good thing and the only reason to go there is the beach.

We have been camping at Dillon Beach since the 70s. It is so sad to see what is happening to Dillon. The cost of staying continues to rise and now there are no flush toilets and sinks. The sites are crowded and small. We are...More

The Camp ground has changed policies about length of stay. The beach is still worth the trip out however a lengthy stay in this visitors opinion is not worth it for the money . Do walk the beach though .

If we didn't have a dog who loved the beach, we probably wouldn't go to Lawson's Landing. Campsites are small, amenities are non-existent. But our pooch loved it, and our campsite neighbors were very pleasant. We had a seawall site, which was chillier, but had...More

I have been visiting Lawsons Landing for well over 25 years since I was a kid. I remember playing in the dunes, building great sand castles and flying kites with the high wind. There is no showers here and more recently no bathrooms except for...More

I have to begin by stating that this is not a review of Lawson's Landing. I have no idea what/where that is. But it seems to be the only Thing To Do in Dillon Beach, so it's the only place to leave a review for...More

I wouldn't ... in fact, I wouldn't waste your time or money. The problem with tent camping is that when the cows roam free (which is pretty cool) they leave unwanted presents.... everywhere! I wouldn't want to camp in a... More
