We loved our camping spot tucked up against the dunes! The short walk to the beach reminded us of the beaches in Maine, very peaceful trails with whispy coastal grasses! We camped in a travel trailer, which made for a cozy nights sleep! Not a...More

We stayed here one night in our RV because we would be staying at another beach the next day. It’s a campground near the beach, why not. It’s avery sloppy set up. I wouldn’t consider it a campground. The front areas are small grass areas...More

Not for tent campers. My husband and I came here looking for a campground that would get us outside and have last minute availability on a holiday weekend. While we had a nice weekend, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful, tranquil...More

Being locals we frequently heard about Lawson's landing but never been. We wanted to check it out but they wouldn't let us in without paying. We won't be back.

This place is pretty much just a spot to park or put a tent. There are no facilities, only porta potties- which are dirty and not well maintained. There is nobody enforcing quiet hours and they pack people in the campgrounds so you better hope...More

The beach at Lawsons Landing at Dillon Beach, CA is a great place to take the whole family for a day or afternoon at the beach--and bring Fido too as long as he/she gets along well with other dogs. The beach is nice and flat...More
