I can't understand people...who would rate a pretty waterfall in nature (aren't they all?) that's just off the highway (so it takes not time to get to) and that's free anything less than a five? What exactly are you looking for? As for me, I thought Hedge Creek Falls was great. It's a quick turn off of the 5, and... More

Convenient to where we stayed, we walked over to the falls. The walk through the park was scenic & short. It seemed more like a neighborhood park than a destination for out of towners. The falls were cute & you could walk behind them into a cave. All in all, worth visiting if you're in the area.

This is a relatively easy trail located just off I5. The waterfall varies depending on the season. It is possible to walk behind the falls and continue on the trail until it ends at the Sacramento River. Some reviewers have reported that there are better falls elsewhere, there certainly are larger ones, but they are also not as conveniently located.... More

First get off the exit the road beavers to the left right there turn right go past the first building and park your there. Great chance to get a little exercise on a long road trip. 5 minutes down to the falls. Walk behind the falls and cool off and than back to the car. Nice quick break.

Nice. It is a hidden jewel. I'm glad we looked up attractions in Dunsmuir and found it. The path was narrow in parts, no fencing and I'm afraid of heights, so I leaned into the rocks!

We accidentally found this place while trying to find an alternative route to Mossbrea Falls. So glad we took the time to hike the short trail. Incredible sight that our cameras couldn't begin to capture.

If you need to stop to stretch your legs along highway 5, this is the perfect place. A gentle "hike" will take you to a beautiful waterfall and you can even walk behind it.

Nicely maintained trail through the woods to the waterfall. It looks steep at first glance, but wasn't bad and flattens out after just a couple of switchbacks. Easy free parking, right off the exit. Small brown wooden sign marks the trailhead.

This place is pretty good, nice and quiet, not big waterfalls, but good enough to get in the water and enjoy it.
