There is enough art here to spend ten minutes....but only if you are into old west paintings. Not much of anything beyond that. I wouldn't drive out of your way to see it.

Olaf Wieghorst was a talented artist of the Western genre. The museum is housed the the old adobe home that he lived in on Renette Ave. In El Cajon, a few blocks from where it sits now.

This is a very well done tribute to local artist Olaf Wieghorst and his beautiful, western art. Many his works are attractively displayed in a historical setting. Well worth several visits.
