Great spot for a walk
Aug 2021
Went here with no expectations and had a great time! Great walking paths, some that go along the water. A separate dog park makes the walking path nice. Went during the weekday, so parking was not a problem. Really beautiful experience!

Great place to walk with or without your doggie
Apr 2019 • Friends
Not only are there nice trails by the water, but along the paths you'll find large sculptures made from found objects which are delightful and worth photographing.

Quirky Park
Jan 2019 • Couples
A park along the waterfront with some outdoor art, kind of weird and quirky and fun. So take your phone for some photos.

If you are looking for something to do in Berkeley
May 2018 • Couples
Berkeley doesn't really have much to do. I was there to attend a graduation at the university and had some time for some activity. This park is easily accessible, close, and offers opportunities for some nice walking, good views of the bay, and though we came without any kids, we saw a nice playground as well as the adventure playground (not for the very littlest kids from what I could tell). You could certainly spend some pleasant time here.

Clean, fun, family place to visit
Dec 2016 • Friends
The Albany Bulb was a great place to visit. Extremely clean and a great place to walk dogs. We saw numerous bird sightings including some raptors. The graffitti was visually interesting. Most of the walking trails are level and easy to walk. No picnic spots and very few parking locations.

Mudflats o which to sail
May 2015 • Solo
This section of the Eastshore State Park covers the Emeryville mudflats with some tidal marsh. Benches line Powell street where you can look out over the ebbing & flowing tide across the mud flats. Some birdwatching in the marsh area and Kitesurfers launch from the southern edge of this park along the Bay Bridge frontage road
