Located inside of Kit Carson Park, Queen Califia's Magical Circle is a beautiful sculpture garden where you can bring your furry friends too! The colours are bright, the sculptures are imaginative and it's a great place to take photos. I'm glad I was able to make it on the 2nd Saturday of the month to check it out.

This place is truly a treasure! Niki de Saint Phalle's last public work before her passing. Words can't describe my adoration.

Attraction is only open a couple times a week and only a few hours at that. I was able to walk around and see some from the outside along the gates. Everything looked pretty cool. I will definitely come back when I'm in town again.

Never would have guessed that this place could be so interesting. Once you learn a little about the history of this place and the lady who made it happen, the place becomes very intriguing. Glad we looked into this attraction while we were in the area

Fantastic art and sculpture park. Well worth the time to find. It's a little tricky as the signs in the Kit Carson park are not very clear!

Googled things to do north of San Diego. This came up. Friends and family were not aware of this gem in their near by community. To look at these amazing mosaics only wants one to know more about them. We were there on a day when no docents were available but that didn't matter. To spend time with these incredible... More

This attraction is located in Kit Carson State Park. Many locals don't even know about it. Very minimal hours--four mornings a week plus one Sat. morning a month. Near the San Diego Wild Animal park.

I fell in love with this NIki de Saint Phalle masterpiece before it was built. Once while driving up I-5 a pick-up truck of one of her pieces cam south and I was so tickled and amazed by it I almost drove of the freeway. The sculpture garden is tucked away in Kit Carson Park and it is worth the... More

I have been to Queen Califia's Magic Circle many times and enjoy the way I can walk around the art work and experience it directly. I am somewhat of a rockhound and there are many semi-precious stones throughout the work.
