I like going here as a first stop when wine tasting. We typically get a pizza, salad, and a bottle of wine, which works out well. The place is nice and has great views, and the owners are great. That said, and it is a...More

Small winery serving great pizza and lovely outdoor setting. Local wine plus beer available. Self service ordering at kiosk. No judgment on wine - did not taste, but clientele seemed to enjoy. Worth the trip up curvey two lane..

If the name was Cordiano Pizzaria, I would give a higher rating but the wine was sub par at best. In addition, the service was poor. On the plus side, the views are excellent.

We visited Cordiano early on Sunday afternoon for lunch and drinks, and were seated immediately on the upper terrace. The winery was further up the hill road than we expected but the extra altitude provides some great views back down the valley. Good points: +...More

The atmosphere is amazing, just like being in Tuscany. The wine is mediocre, but I am not a fan of San Diego wines unless the grapes come from Paso Robles. The brick oven pizzas are good so they make up for it. Fun place to...More

It was my second time that I visited this Winery. I love the atmosphere. It is outdoors and has a lots of sitting tables with shades. This place owned by Italian family and you can meet them as they mingle with customers. It made me...More

The best part about this place was the view overlooking the valley and the food. I was hoping for the wines to be better, but that was just my personal preference.

Our friends took us to one of their favorite spots for a wine just minutes from their home. We were amazed that this clear mountain view could be so close and so different than on their golf course location. A great location for a winery...More

This beautiful winery fills up quickly, so go early. They make a small variety of pizzas. Get a salad with a secret dressing, a bottle of wine, sit back and enjoy the view. It's worth a trip down Highland Valley road

My husband and I stopped by this lovely winery for Sunday lunch today. The view is incredible but so is the family who runs it. All the employees, from the greeters, bar tenders, food servers and bus boys, are so happy to see you and...More

Assuming you have a car, going east will take you to Julian, a quaint little village about 1200 meters elevation. Closer to the northwest is Fallbrook. There is a park called 'Live Oak' that has a few hiking trails. The... More
