    Wonderful!!
My daughter (21) and I spent about 3 hours at the zoo. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the animals. The red pandas were cute and a keeper was training them and telling us about the. The bear exhibit isn’t open yet but we were able to catch glimpses of the baby bears playing behind the scenes! We loved watching the keepers put out enrichment activities for the animals, Franklin the pig was especially cute with his. Be sure to check the feeding schedule when you get there, we enjoyed the otter feeding with all of the info the keeper shared. The sky walk was great!!! It’s very sturdy which allowed us to focus on taking in the views rather than holding on for dear life. I enjoyed the chimp tribute with the pictures and info about the park history as well. The cafe food was fast, not too expensive and a much better variety than I expected. Cute small gift shop as well. We got there about 10 minutes before they opened so we got one of the few parking spots in the lot across the street. Be prepared to look for a parking spot on the road if you don’t get there early. I would totally go back again!!

    a delightful afternoon
I loved the skywalk. The new bear exhibit is worth a visit. The zoo is providing a home for orphaned bears that cannot be released back in the wild. Not crowded the day I went.

    Cute little zoo
Small, cute zoo. The skywalk was really good, lovely views. The bears & red pandas were fun to watch. We were here for a couple of hours as we went round slowly & went back to some animals as they weren't there first time round. Few more animals would of made it a 5 star but still an enjoyable experience & recommend if you're in the area.

    A nice little zoo.
This is a nice little zoo. These people really care for the animals. Many of the animals cannot be released back into the wild so they are here to be cared for. This is how a zoo should be. Well worth a trip to take in.

    Animals & Activities
For a small zoo, this one is really nice. Our little one enjoyed the spiral water feature at the entrance to the park - make sure to bring shoes you don't mind getting wet! The Redwood Skywalk is also very impressive. Note - you'll need to find street parking; this zoo does not have a parking lot.

    Skywalk
Visited this zoo with my granddaughter. As zoos go, there aren't many animals. Highlights would be the red panda and the flamingos. Also a few bears. They do have a petting zoo with goats and sheep. The skywalk is really nice, maybe the best part of the experience. I knocked a star off for the entry fee, not at all a good value.

    What a surprise!
We were totally surprised and blown away by this absolutely unique zoo. Yes, there is the zoo aspect of it, with animals from all over the world for viewing. But for us the real reason for visiting was the aerial walking that wove through a grove of redwoods. Living as we do in redwood country, we are used to enjoying them...at ground level. So to be up tens of feet in the air and actually looking down on parts of them made for a memorable experience. The staff is very friendly. The pace is slow. There's parking on the street. See it if you're in Eureka!

While this is a smaller zoo and a bit pricey, you feel good walking through and seeing the large exhibits and learning how they are rehabilitating and releasing when possible. We thought it was a lovely morning outing on our anniversary weekend.

Small zoo, but very clean and well maintained. The sky walk is great and the petting farm was fun for my kids too. The animals were all very active.

The Skywalk is the highlight of this zoo, a fun (albeit short) experience. The zoo itself is tiny - we went through it in less than 30 minutes, mainly because most of the exhibits were empty. I’m baffled how anyone could spend hours here, unless they were wandering through the actual park next door, which is quite beautiful (and free.) Nice place to check out if you’re in town, but certainly not worth a special trip.

Cute little zoo but not a big range of animals for price you pay to get in. We were a few weeks shy of the bear enclosure being opened so that was a bit of a shame - although we did see the cubs in their enclosure at the back from the Skywalk. The farmyard area lacked animals with most enclosures empty. The highlight was probably the otters which were fed at the beginning of our arrival, but that wasn't overly long. The Skywalk amongst the Sequoia's is great, but you can't just do that without visiting the rest of the zoo. I'd say the skywalk dominates over the animals unfortunately. I think once the bear enlcosure is up and running it will be a bit more attractive and worth the dollars. Still a good place to visit whilst in Eureka.

The skywalk in my opinion was a great waste of time and money. Animal habitats and the playground could have benefited greatly with half the money spent on it.
