If you are in need of some quite time, this is the place! Among these giant redwood groves sit and reflect or just walk the trails! My teen age grand daughter suggested this as an activity for us to share....and it was special! These giant...More

The trees can only get a 5. This is smaller than Muir but it still pulls the air out of your lungs. The majesty of these living things speaks to us. We need to listen more often. This is easily accessible and easily traveled. The...More

We traveled from Sequoia and Yosemite to end our vacation with a few coastal hikes in the redwoods. This was a great place to start! There is a $10 entrance fee but keep your ticket as it is good in any of the State Parks...More

This is a wonderful place to hang out for the day. Lots of trails; paved and unpaved. Picnic tables, nice restrooms. Shady and serene. We saw some deer in a meadow. Perfect weather today too. Highly recommended!

We are visiting today while our children are at a Y camp north of here. The Redwood Grove Loop Trail is only .8 mile long and has such majestic, giant (300 ft tall) coastal redwood forest. We did the loop taking time to savor the...More

Beautiful well kept park full of gorgeous, huge trees. The Rangers and employees are full of knowledge. Make sure to pick up a green brochure and donate more than 25 cents! The gift shop has many goodies, we purchased a few souvenirs. Very jealous we...More
