Took the short version starting from Willits, about one hour and forty-five minutes. It was noisy, smelly, not that comfortable and all to get to see a handful of redwoods. You would be much better served by visiting the Sequoia National Forest. Definitely not worth...More

Took the skunk train to Puddin creek. This is a 60 minute round trip. Train travels at 7mph so it is ver slow. The scenery was not very special. It was also reasonably expensive. I was disappointed.

We took the 1 hour ride and it cost $54 for two people. Not worth the money, IMHO. I could walk faster than the train went, and the time we visited, the vintage steam train was OUT OF SERVICE as well as the outdoor open...More

We departed Willits on the 10am train. We loved it! The Train Singer was fantastic with amazing people skills. The narration is informative. On this trip, you get to see the 800 (yes, that is correct) year old Redwood. This is family and dog friendly...More

A little boring. The Willits route is down, so they offer a 1 hour Pudding Creek ride. 30 min in. 30min out. At the very beginning, you pass a cemetery. Then.... Trees. Lots of trees. If you're into that, cool. This is for you. If...More

For me, this truly was a pretty boring experience. The train traveled for about 30 minutes through the "forest." It did not go all the way to Willits as it normally does because of water damage in the area. The conductor provided very little information...More

I agree with the previous post. I don't recall any refund policy but maybe a rain check?
