Although Glass Beach is just an hour away, I had always heard it was disappointing and not worth the stop. On a recent trip to Fort Bragg, I found it to be just the opposite. While the beach doesn't have the large sea glass beach...More

Lots of beach glass but its very tiny. The walk along bike path is awesome and dog friendly. Being there in November, very few people and weather was great.

The Beach was very rocky and beautiful. Very few pieces of glass around. I guess people scavenge here quite often. Ocean was crazy. Better beware. Several people were surprised by the surf and were knocked down. Watch out for the homeless.

Very unique beach! Lots of small glass fragments that have been polished by the rocks and pounding surf. Easy access with ample parking and public restrooms in the parking area.

if you go to Glass Beach make sure you go at low tide because when it is high tide you usually can't get down close enough to even walk on the beach.

No. But there are plenty of other areas to be at. Go to Mackerriker State Park in Fort Bragg, CA. The first entrance is the camping area. The second entrance takes you down to picnic areas, boardwalk, ocean, tide pools... More

There is a large parking area near Glass Beach and for the beautiful walkway along the coast.
