Once year at the end of July, the little town of Gilroy becomes the hot spot for garlic lovers to gather. Food, music and fun is what it's all about at the Garlic Festival.

I've been here for the giant Gilroy Garlic festival or just to hang out with friends. Parts are nicely shaded and other parts host local sports events or practices. Normally never too crowded and very quiet.

Great small park with a built up portions including sports fields, stages, trails, nature walks and par courses and some more wild areas. Then there is the Garlic Festival the last weekend of July.

We went this weekend and had everything garlic. It's a nice, local event that everyone should go to at least once if you're within reasonable driving distance. Always the last weekend in July
