In the wine world, tradition often tempers creativity, individuality and imagination. But at Imagery Estate Winery, an unconventional approach inspires richly expressive wines and a wine drinking experience that entices you to broaden your palate. After a day in wine country, it can all start to blend together. 'Chard, Merlot, Cab, Pinot, Chard, Cab, blah, blah, blah. At Imagery, we're all about experimenting with new varietals, exploring little known grape regions, and shining the spotlight on wines that are usually swallowed up in big blends. Stop by for a walk in our herb and vegetable garden, a tasting, or a tour of our art gallery.

We took the Benziger tram tour first and got complimentary tasting ticket to Imagery, (Imagery tasting costs $15 per person). You can try any of the wines they offer/sell, not just the ones of the main tasting list. We think the merlot was the best, so we got a bottle (pricey though). The gallery is ok. I recommend to visit... More

A Sonoma Valley gem. The rare, delicious, and unusual varietals and blends poured at Joe Benziger's (yes, the notorious wine guru/troublemaker of the Benziger Family) estate winery are truly one of a kind and a stop that you can't afford to miss. The whites, the rose, and the reds are honestly all extremely top-notch (just look up all the awards... More

Imagery has some great varietals that not many other wineries produce. I took my guests there yesterday and they loved the wines. Zazzy was so sweet and friendly and she made it special for them, poured a couple of extra wines and gave them some tasting passes for some of the other wineries we were planning to visit. Great hospitality!

I am always looking for wines that stand above but don't cost me an arm and a leg! Imagery fits the bill...not sub $20 wines but still, the pricing of their quality is right where it should be. Can't go wrong here!

Imagery Estates labels their different wines with reproductions of paintings, some famous, some less so. A gallery of prints is free to visit on the premises. Excellent wine and being friendly and inquisitive can help you solicit an extra glass or two.

VERY different as the wine is presented in bottles with real pieces of art as the label. Half art museum, half winery. You must try the blueberry influenced wine... really nice!

Loved this place. It was so darn cute, and our wine connoisseur was fantastic. We also had a complimentary two wine tasting here, thanks to staying at the local Olea Hotel.

We buy wines that we have tasted so we know that they will be a good poor for friends and family. Imagery is the most awesome winery filled with beautiful art that is featured on the wine labels. The staff are very friendly and fun to talk to. You can buy prints of some of the art work, or just... More

Great yard with art and sculpture, chairs scattered outside, amazing wines, and interesting items in the gift shop. The servers were very warm and welcoming. A bit out of the ordinary for winetasting in the region.

We have been members of Imagery winery for years. We try to get to the winery once per year. Not bad for living out of state. They always pour as many samples as we want. They have nice wine. On our visit in November, I wanted to try the wines from my latest shipment. Little to none were being poured... More
