About
Located in downtown Grass Valley on Mill Street. A great little wine bar that features 3 local wineries for tasting and purchasing. They offer small cheese plates for a small fee along with some other type hors d'oeuvres to enjoy with your wine. On Friday and Saturday night they have local talented bands and there's no cover charge. Very nice upscale wine tasting room.

Nice place to unwind
Jan 2013 • Friends
The wine company is a nice place to enjoy a glass of wine or to sample one of their flights. You can sit at the bar or there are tables for four. My sister and I had the cheese and cracker plate and really enjoyed it with our flight of wines. The staff is knowledgeable and was able to help us pair up the cheese and the wines. They also have a few items for sale from the wineries represented and also some gift items like games. I bought a wine quiz game to take on a weekend getaway.

A bonus if you are a wine club member of any of the wineries featured there is that you get a discount on all three wineries.

NICE WINE BAR WITH MUSIC ON THE WEEKENDS
Apr 2012 • Couples
The Wine Company features wines from local wineries. You can sample several for a five dollar tasting fee. Of course they are hoping you will purchase a bottle to enjoy while listening to the featured music on either Friday or Saturday evening. The evening we were there they had a two piece band which was very good. They played some great soft sounds and you could visit over the music. The Wine Company also offers a few small plates of cheese, crackers, nuts, and olives for a small fee. This establishment is more upscale and has a nice welcoming feel when you walk in with knowledgeable and helpful staff. A nice place to have a before or after dinner glass of wine.
