A scenic three-mile hiking trail from Gualala Point Regional Park to Walk-On Beach along the Pacific coast. This short trail in downtown Gualala can be accessed through the Surf Motel parking lot and next to the Shoreline Restaurant. The trail goes behind three motels/inns and other commercial buildings and follows the Gualala River. There are views of the river and the Pacific Ocean and benches along the way. Parts of it are relatively flat and other parts a bit more challenging.

I nice walk before or after dinner

Not a long hike, just a nice stroll on the bluff. Great for a before or after dinner view of the ocean.

This trail leads from the Visitors Center to Gualala Beach. It's about 1 mile roundtrip, with no changes in elevation. You can use this as a starting point to hike into Sea Ranch along the bluff, which is a much prettier trail.

Short little walking trail up and down over rocks, gravel and steps. Provides a fantastic ocean view and out of the way serenity.

It's a narrow path that is not level, not a workout, and within yards of several local hotels. It's great for folks who want a little stroll next to their hotel room, but don't be fooled into expecting a true hike, or a secluded, serene experience here. Go to a State Park instead--there are gorgeous ones nearby.

This is a nice short walk after a long day in the car. Great ocean view and spectacular foreground of plants to frame the view. However, since it's next to a couple of motels, the trail isn't very wide. It's nice that there's a couple of benches to sit on to just relax and breathe a nice sigh of relief... More

This is a wonderful walk for folks who don't want a heavy workout and are there for Pacific Ocean TV. What a sunset! Enjoy a seat on the redwood bench and take a breath. Nesting seagulls, herons and turkey vultures are fun to watch too.

Always a changing view as the seasons change. The river flow and the changing ocean dynamics add to the panorama. The bird and sea life provide a great display from the bluff viewing "platform." Sometimes you get lucky and see whales blowing and surfacing out on the ocean during migration seasons. While the trail is a short 1/2 mile, it... More

this little trail meanders along the bluff, in between the inns and the Gualala River (with the ocean just beyond it). Great place to view otters, herons, and a multitude of sea birds

Has beautiful views, easy acess. It's a good place to stretch your legs or linger to watch wildlife or kayakers below. There are often 'small sights' such as flowers. There are a few benches. Nice place to take to take a deep breath and a little break.

Great stop along Highway 1 to enjoy the coastline and view the Pacific Ocean. Plenty of hiking trails available.
