I've been coming to Quivera since the 80s and I used to always like it. But now, its an overpriced rip-off. Tastings $15-$20. You get tasting fee back if you buy $100 worth of wine. No, I'm not joking. Oh, and that's PER tasting. Two tastings, $200. Wines are double what they should be. Most overly tannic hard to drink.... More

I had seen that Wine Spectator had given one of their wines a 92 point rating. Since I was in the area, my wife and I decided to stop by for a visit. Our guide and host, Ted, was very knowledable about the wine and history of the vinyard. The winery is sustainable and biodynamic. We toured the Wine (Grape)... More

This was our first stop on our second day in Sonoma county. When we pulled in the venue looked gorgeous with overflowing gardens and nice landscaping. The Sauvignon Blanc was our favorite wine. They were expecting a large event at noon for their members but that led to a very poor experience for regular visitors. The gardens were closed, the... More

My wife and I visited Quivira on June 17 2016. Visit booked through Cellar Pass. I believe the name of the person hosting our tasting and tour was Tim (apologies since its been several months since our visit). He did a fantastic job with our tasting & tour. First of all, their wines are terrific. Second, my wife majored in... More

Quivira is a Winery and Farm in the Dry Creek Valley area and is certainly worth a visit. We first had a very nice tasting in the tasting room and loved both their red and white wines. After the tasting we walked around their estate garden which features a chicken pen full of colorful roosters and hens. We then walked... More

I first visited Quivira maybe 18 years ago and fell in love with their wine - especially their Rhone-clone GSM blend - called "Dry Creek Cuvee" back then. And I really enjoyed the visit because their people were cool and down to earth. I finally had a chance to visit again recently and I'm so happy I made the trip!... More

This was our favorite winery of our Sonoma weekend trip. The tasting room is bright and has views of the surrounding hills and their lovely gardens, which are beautiful to walk through. The tasting room staff was knowledgable and it was enjoyable to listen to our pourer talk about their wines. We found a couple things we really liked and... More
