I have always enjoyed walking on the pier. I recommend wearing much warmer clothing than for on landoing except for summers. Great place to watch surfers. Miss the old days when different businesses were there but this one is more secure.

Huntington Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches with its long stretches of sand and great surfing waves. The pier has become some what of an icon and Ruby's diner out at the end of the pier is popular with tourists and locals alike. Parking at the beach car park is $1.50 per hour. Opposite the beach is the... More

Huntington Beach Pier is the place to go. Great views, lovely walk out along the pier, couple of great shops which we love to wander around plus the added bonus of Ruby's Diner at the end. So much to see from the Pier especially the beautiful sunsets.

The Pier is so beautiful and peaceful. The views are spectacular and I enjoy the many smiles from people visiting from all over the world. I'm from out of state and have been a local for decades. Every day I either visit the Pier or drive by, never taking the view for granted. Either walking on the Pier or underneath... More

We are out of town business travels, who arrived mid-Sunday with a few hours to burn. We enjoyed a great walk along the beach path, out on the Huntington Beach Pier, through down-town Huntington, and back to the hotel. All in all, we had a good stroll, felt safe, and enjoyed a clean beach and town.

Lots of places to eat in the area, beautiful amphitheater for summer entertaining, and who doesn't like to watch the waves rolling in. Surfers are always out taking advantage of the ideal location. .
