I bought a bottle here. Prices were reasonable for such good wine. Atmosphere was quiet and cordial.

Based on several recommendations from fellow wine tasters, we stopped here for a taste after exploring this cute Gold Rush town. We were not disappointed. The Italian style wines are surprisingly excellent, the atmosphere friendly. We even met the owner and had a nice chat. The Montepulciano (the grape, not the town) varietals are especially delicious.

We are spoiled to have Gianelli Vineyards so near. They are a great family and winery. Many different varieties. Big tasting room. Bring a lunch and picnic outside with a bottle of wine!

Stopped by this tasting room which specializes in Italian Varietals. Claudia, the pourer, was knowledgeable and very very engaging which made the experience interesting and enjoyable. We purchased a bottle of Barberra but all wines were very well crafted

The owner was looking at my Ferrari and we struck up a conversation, he invited me to the tasting room and gave me a bottle of Orange Muscat, after I tasted it, I went back and bought more. Was very good.

Gianelli Vineyards has won more gold, silver, and bronze medals in blind-tasting competitions during its nine years of releasing estate grown, hand-crafted, Italian varietals than any other vineyard in California. Definitely worth a drive out of your way. Owners Ron & Lori Gianelli have created the paramount boutique vineyard. And now they have a very comfortable new tasting room with... More

18158 Main Street is the correct address. Open only 1pm to 5pm most days so only got in just before closing. Definitely stop in if you are in Jamestown in the afternoon.
