All I can say is wow... stumbled upon this place road tripping around. Incredible. Do it. Easy in and out. Took these on side of road past jenner. recommend knowing your route first/map - Service there sucks. The 10 Peaceful, touching few minutes I spent cliffside - won't be forgotten. Beautiful.

A bit chilly and windy. The ocean wild and we saw whales. Great place to hike and just stroll around. Wear good walking shoes and sun screen.

The Highlands are spectacular for the views of the shoreline, the rock formations and the sea. Too bad you cannot help but have to deal with the town and all its tourist shops and other junk. Plow through all that and travel to the end of the harbor where you can park , camp and enjoy the sea life.

The drive along Hwy 1 between Bodega and Jenner is full of gorgeous views, wildlife, sunrises and sunsets, foggy or clear ocean and stunning coastline. For the expensive cost of your vehicle (bike, car, or feet), you can appreciate (and you will!) the incredible beauty of the Northern California coastline. Seals, whales, falcons, deer & pelicans were just some of... More

The Bodega bay to Jenner stretch of Hwy 1 is one of the most scenic and rugged parts of it. I have driven the entire length of Hwy 1 and this is far and away one of the best parts. There are numerous beaches and overlooks along the way. The weather today was perfect, and made for a wonderful day.

An Amazing coastal drive & its well worth stopping at Jenner If you're lucky you'll spot the seals where the river meets the sea The seas here are treacherous for looking at only - no swimming!!

As you drive down hwy 1, stop and smell the roses, or shall I say the ocean! Lovely views for photography and nature viewing. Be sure to bring a good set of binos. We saw 2 peregrine falcons and whales! Don't forget that picnic lunch!

The drive from Fort Ross to Jenner is breathtaking and thrilling. Curvy mountain roads ride the edge of the bluffs with few guard rails between you and the rugged sea far below. If the twists and turns are not enough of a thrill, factor in rock slides, sheer drops, cattle crossings, heavy fog and, unbelievably, a wine tasting option at... More
